9th Annual Garlic Festival Volunteer Registration

Volunteer at The Sharing Farm’s annual Garlic Festival and contribute to a celebration of local food, stellar chefs, and our delicious garlic! The Garlic Festival is the largest of its kind in Metro Vancouver, and is an important fundraiser for The Sharing Farm. Proceeds from the day allow us to continue to grow food for families in need.


WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The festival is held at The Sharing Farm (2771 Westminster Hwy) in Terra Nova Rural Park, Richmond, BC.
Date: Sunday August 20th
Volunteer Shifts: Either 9:00am to 1:00pm or 12:00pm to 4:00pm.


VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
Volunteers must be able to attend one orientation session (see dates below).

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the festival including festival setup and tear down, greeting festival goers, assisting with parking, helping in the kids area, scooping ice cream, serving drinks, and more!

    Note: We would greatly appreciate volunteers arriving 10 minutes prior to their chosen shift so that you can be checked in and ready to help. You are welcome to sign up for the whole festival day if you'd like. 🙂
    Volunteer orientation is mandatory as we'd like you to have a fun and rewarding volunteer experience. At the orientation, you will learn about The Sharing Farm and your specific role at the festival.
